2/ Coffee date with Anne and our cameras at Coava.
3/ Beer with Ally at Rogue Distillery & Public House.
4/ Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. (and their logo!) is an incredible and inspiring space to see.
5/ Green curry at a Thai food cart as it was . . .
6/ Pouring rain in downtown Portland.
This will probably be the last Portland set I'll share. The trip gave me a lot of perspective and got me excited about things I've been meaning to do, especially concerning my apartment—but I'll talk to you about that later.
Thanks, Ally and Jake, for everything.
Looks like such a great trip! I would love to go to Portland some day. It sounds like such a wonderful place full of creative people doing great things. Trips are the best for inspiring changes at home, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteYour trip looks lovely! These pictures are fantastic. I'm interested in getting a camera sometime soon, what kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteI use a Canon Rebel XS when I'm shooting digital (although I shot these on film with my Pentax ME Super). It's a great camera, really easy to use, and pretty affordable in the realm of digital SLRs.
DeleteAwesome! Thanks for the info!
DeleteSuch a dreamy city. That photo of rain-soaked streets is especially magical; it's been over 100 and dry as a bone in the midwest this week.
ReplyDeleteDid you use film for these? They look great! =)
ReplyDeleteI did! I used Kodak Portra 400 in my Pentax ME Super.
DeleteCome back jess. Its even more lovely here now.
ReplyDeleteHi thanks for sharing thiss
