a very pleasant surprise

I haven't been spending much time at home lately. So, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that a pumpkin seedling pushed its way through the soil I planted it in two weeks ago. The seed made it across the Atlantic, from Hermine in Belgium, and now it's sprouting on my balcony. I just can't believe it.

(I'm soon to be without a deck—can I grow a pumpkin indoors? I'll Google it.)

  1. Wauw wauw wauw ! Looks amazing. I'm trying it inside, but I think it will work better in a garden or a terrace. Your terrace would be perfect. Think there is a little less air inside. But I'm still trying, maybe it will work out.

  4. I love pumpkin plants! I have one in my garden, and because it spreads out so widely I am not able to grow more than one plant! Hope you can enjoy yours indoor as well!
